PARENTS, PLEASE CONSIDER VOLUTEERING THIS YEAR. WE WERE VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE AMOUNT OF PARENT VOLUNTEERS LAST SEASON.
YOU DO NOT NEED AN INVITATION TO VOLUNTEER. THIS LEAGUE DOES NOT RUN ITSELF AND DESPERATELY NEEDS PARENT HELP. THE MORE HELP, THE BETTER THE LEAGUE. BOARD POSITIONS ARE AVAILABLE. PLEASE

Reminder to all parents for any questions, problems, or issues you must follow the appropriate steps to handle things. Please confront your coaches first, then the division directors, and so forth if the problems still persists.
IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE WAY SOMETHING IS DONE, THE ONLY WAY TO CHANGE IT, IS TO GET INVOVLED.
DADS (OR MOMS), COACHING POSITIONS ARE ALWAYS NEEDED. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO COACH, PLEASE LET US KNOW AT TIME OF REGISTRATION. WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR FRESH COACHING IDEAS.
THERE WILL BE A LOT OF CHANGES THIS YEAR, INCLUDING EARLIER REGISTRATION, SO KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR THE POSTCARDS coming in JAN. ! ! ! !

We are working on getting our standings for each team on the site this year. The players will love to look at this page and see how their team and their friends teams are doing throughout the season, especially come play off time.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO PARENTS!!
We know that your days are busy, as is the case for everyone, but we are pleading for more parent involvement. It really takes a lot to run this league for our children and if everyone took a little time to do just one thing (concession stand, board openings, team parent, etc.) this league could be more amazing than it already is, the more parents that volunteer the faster we can reach our goals.
Board openings are available. The league also needs help in several other areas than particpating on the board, if you are interested in volunteering for anything, even it's as small as helping at the concession stand, please email us at kellyferensic@ndhbl.com or info@ndhbl.com.
We are very excited to get the 2008 season started for our players and their families. There will be alot of upcoming changes behind the scenes that will be noticed among all of you as we move towards the start of the season. Just a few of the changes we are striving for include: making registration easier and more informational, better communication, more playing fields, better field maintenance and more competition. We will continue to have free clinics for both boys and girls, developing the tournament teams, championship and the allstar games. We are working very hard throughout the year to accomplish these goals and much more to make this league more enjoyable for our children.
We, like any other organization, have a MISSION STATEMENT. Ours is to work towards improving our league to better serve our children and the community. We will work towards teaching our children the great game of baseball, to teach them the art of fair play, sportsmanship and teamwork. We will work towards making sure that at the end of each season, each and every child is a better player and a better teammate!
Also, the NDHBL board of directors strive to make sure all children are able to play and enjoy the game of baseball. Keep in mind that the NDHBL does offer hardship discounted rates with proper proof. We certainly understand any concerns you may have and ensure all information is kept confidential.
